the collection and distribution of surplus and donated food to
those in need in the Tacoma and Pierce County area. It is

civic food drives and gifts from concerned individuals.
Three
times a year, men graduate from the
Tacoma Rescue
Mission's New Life Program. The program has been offered
to men for over 18 years. Now the program is also offered to
the emotionally broken and spiritually wounded women who come
to the mission. It is offered free of charge to those who are
ready to break the cycle of addiction. The Tacoma Rescue
Mission does not create or manufacture the homeless, they
serve them in a location that is accessible to those in need,
at the Emergency Service Center located at 1510 Pacific
Avenue. The Rescue Mission has been serving the needy in
downtown Tacoma since 1912.
Greater Raleigh, NC area
North
Carolina has over 42
Free Clinics and Pharmacies in both rural and urban
locations throughout the State. North Carolina’s Free Clinics
provide medical and dental care; and prescription medications
for low-income, uninsured and medically underinsured people.
Several programs offer emergency dental care, while other
programs provide strictly pharmacy assistance to their
communities. We believe that inability to pay should not
prevent people from receiving health care.
The
Alliance
Medical Ministry is a faith-led medical ministry that
serves the working poor in Wake County, North Carolina. This
interdenominational, church and synagogue supported ministry
seeks to open a clinic to provide needed medical and dental
care to our neighbors, as a direct response to the Lord’s call
for compassionate ministry to the sick and needy. “I was sick
and you cared for me. I assure you that whenever you did this
for the least among you, you did it for me.” (Matthew
25:35-40)

self-reliance and growth.

Sister Organizations
The mission of
Faith 24/7
is to compel every Christian to have a continuous walk of faith, perfecting
holiness out of reverence for God, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Faith 24/7 wants every Christian to become motivated toward having an active
lifestyle that reflects an actual relationship with Jesus Christ. Thus being
made evident, the fruit from their lives will be more effective in witnessing
for Christ and expanding the Kingdom of God throughout the world.
Finally, here is a
book that questions the traditional view of Christian giving.
"Beyond Tithes and
Offerings" reverses years of careless biblical interpretation
that has led to traditional giving based on isolated portions
of the tithing ritual.
The danger today is that many people focus on man's version of
giving with little regard for what God has called us to do.
The goal is to demonstrate the difference between biblical
tithing and today's monetary version of tithing. It will also
simplify Christian giving by placing our focus on the needs of
the poor and having us become voluntary, liberal and cheerful
givers (both in church and out).
